No Borders: Crafting the Future
No Borders is a multidisciplinary platform celebrating underground art, slow fashion, and ancient crafts.
Founded in 2018 as a concept and vintage store in Mumbai’s historic Kotachiwadi, the platform began as an idea shaped between Mumbai and New York. It has since grown into a global space that brings together independent artists, creatives, and artisans from around the world, each carrying stories of where they come from into everything they create.
Our Story
No Borders is a cultural platform that was born out of a goal to amplify local talent and build strong communities to revolutionize industries that are western centric by slowly shifting the power back to the hands of the people across the world. Branched into various shop categories like Fashion, Art, Books, Jewelry, Home and Food, we aim to highlight stories from different cultures through the works of artists and designers who have a unique voice representing their histories through local and traditional craftsmanship.
No Borders In-House
No Borders In-house is an initiative supporting art, artists and revolutionary thinkers. By co-designing these unique pieces with artisans we have aimed to revolutionize fashion by keeping our rich crafts and heritage at the center of it.
Through our ideas, we embody stories of our ancestors that serve as a blueprint for a future in which we honor our roots by reimagining crafts for the younger generations.
In-house is an ode to exploring village practices, innovating on the go, celebrating imperfections and bringing back dying arts. Through this cultural revival and fresh creativity, we aim to create a new visual language to connect with an unconventional and culturally liberated audience

Independent Artists and Designers
We work with designers, artists, and makers from across the world, from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America, the UK, the US, and beyond, each rooted in the crafts, stories, and textures of their hometowns. Whether through garments, prints, or embroidered art, every piece is a living expression of identity, heritage, and care. From handwoven textiles to photo prints, zines, limited-edition books, and tactile objects. Many of the voices aren’t just collaborators, but close friends and creatives we’ve worked with over the years and continue to grow, learn, and build with as No Borders evolves a growing community each reimagining tradition and culture in their own way.
No Borders Experiences
No Borders is rooted in creating intentional experiences that bring our global community closer to craft, culture, and community. By traveling to different parts of the world and collaborating with independent artists, we’ve built immersive events and workshops that reflect our shared stories and roots. From New York and LA to Mallorca, Mumbai, and Bangalore, we’ve hosted sold-out gatherings shaped by thoughtfully designed themes, marketplaces, and workshops. We learn through craft, art, dance, food, music, film, and storytelling, creating moments that help us reconnect, reflect, and imagine new ways forward. Over the years, we’ve worked with DJs, chefs, musicians, artists, and so many incredible people to bring these events to life and built lasting relationships that continue to shape what No Borders is all about.
