The average sized yellow-red cloth bags, tucked into the small shelf in almost every household in Tamil Nadu, India used tp be a part and parcel of people's lives.

Everyone had it, it was a belonging and people carry them when they leave to a shop/ go to a bank/ market/ marriage/ school and so on.

The idea was to reiterate these bags that had a huge sense of cultural nostalgia back to life.

All bags are stitched and screen printed by an unit of traditional Manja Pai makers in Bhavani, Tamil Nadu, India.
