How we started

I was drawn to art during my time in school and aspired to make a career in something art-related. It was my art professor that recommended I try my hand at fashion and design—which is how I enrolled at NIFT, New Delhi, where I eventually graduated with a Textile Design bachelor’s degree. I believe it's when my sketching/art skills joined forces with fashion that printmaking became my main forte. I played around with these ideas before finally registering and setting up my label in January 2020.

Who we work with

PRXKHXR is predominantly a one-man show at the moment! I personally oversee every piece of design, material sourcing, PR, and marketing to the best of my capacity (along with collaborating a few of my favourite creatives who happens to be my friends). At the heart of my operations is my team of tailors I work with for production–all based out of Delhi.

We’re still at a nascent stage finding our footing in the industry but within the scale/scope of the brand, I try and source my materials ethically and emphasise in the need to produce locally. Most of my handspun and handwoven fabrics are sourced from Khadi India. But down the line, I plan on directly working with small craft clusters across India to come up with contemporary designs made in collaboration with Indian artisans.
