The Workshop
About the workshop:
1. Discover & Watch (25 mins)
A presentation exploring the history and significance of Kasuti, followed by a short film about the craft and its makers.
2. See (20 mins)
A live demonstration with Nikita exploring the techniques of Kasuti embroidery.
3. Create (75 mins)
A hands-on experience of Kasuti, where you’ll get to embroider its intricate motifs yourself.

About Nikita Shah
A multidisciplinary artist, a part of our NB community. She has over 13 years of experience in traditional Indian crafts and textiles, and we’re so excited to have her host this Kasuti workshop.
