The color of the season, the mood of the current reality, and the perfect for a sunny summer day is our Purple Ikat Shirt. It has a beautiful single ikat pattern all over and can be dressed up or down with accessories to make it perfect for a beach day or an art fair. Super light and airy, but a statement nonetheless! It’s oversized, boxy, and unisex; hand woven and dyed with love by artisans in the state of Telangana.

WHO, WHEN, WHERE, AND HOW

For this collection, we worked with a young artisan named Chandana, who has been weaving Ikat fabrics since she was 16, in Telangana. A state that is well known for Koy's Ikat. She soon developed an interest, and by the age of 18, she was creating her own original Ikat patterns, redesigning the traditional ways of weaving.

Material - 100% Natural Cotton Color - Eggplant
Technique - Hand-woven Single Ikat, naturally dyed
Washcare - Handwash lightly in cold water or Dry Clean.
