Who are we

DhakaYeah is all about putting Dhaka and Bangladesh on the world map in terms of contemporary illustration. DhakaYeah emits a global approach fused with local sensibilities and is always trying to capture the constant shift of culture in the metropolitan area.

How we started

Deep attachment and affection towards Dhaka city inspired DhakaYeah to come into existence five years ago. 

The contents or the theme definitely has its roots embedded in deep love and emotions for Dhaka and its ever-changing culture. Dhaka has developed a very unique space for itself in the minds of its residents but sadly the city doesn’t feel very represented or documented at least on a global scale as much as it deserves. DhakaYeah really wants to represent the city and its stories to the world and the urge to showcase it to the world acts as a huge inspiration.

DhakaYeah chooses to present itself as an anonymous entity which helps to bring out the essence of Dhaka in an undistorted manner, ensuring to bring out the city and its people minus the shadow of a personality as it is not attached to a certain gender, group, or an individual.
