The Mushroom Project

Nivaala curated a food and culture and zine with a spotlight on mushrooms. Mushrooms have been presiding on the Earth for over 200 million years, and is one of the most versatile and nutrient dense vegetable.

With this zine, Nivaala wants to educate people on how mushroom can be cooked in myriad forms, according to different regions and cultures. We want to find personal stories and lesser expected recipes using the mushrooms we love so much.
